How Do I File for Unemployment Insurance?

Before filing a claim you will need to have the following information available:

  • Our Social Security Number.
  • The names, addresses, and phone numbers of all your employers for the last 18 months.
  • The name and local number of your union hall, if applicable.
  • Alien Registration Number, if applicable.
  • DD-214 form (if you are a military ex-serviceperson).
    SF-50 form or SF-8 form (if you are a federal employee).
  • Methods of filing new, additional and reopened claims.

Telephone
If you live in Wyoming, claims can be filed by calling the Wyoming Claims Center at 1-(307)473-3789. If you live outside Wyoming, you can file a claim by calling the Claims Center at 1-(866)729-7799.
